We strongly believe that the spiritual values of an individual must progress and/or develop together with his/her current faith (religious and cultural) so that a balance is achieved within them to be a better individual, morally and spiritually. There is a famous Tamil proverb that says, “Ainthil Valayathathu Ainbathil Valayathu” which literally translated to means one that does not bend at five, will not bend at fifty. Accordingly, the first step is to promote the true essence of spirituality to the younger generation. At present, they are mostly deprived of this inclusive and scientific knowledge of spirituality. Albeit the younger generation being the priority, other age groups must also be pursued as we generally feel that this scientific spiritual knowledge has not reached our community adequately as a whole. Awareness needs to be created that understanding spirituality is not an area to be explored only by the elders and matured but rather to be benefitted by the young to acquire complete wisdom to understand the true essence of life. To assimilate and/or implant this knowledge, it is highly recommended that we establish and/or start a School of Spiritual Sciences on a piloting scheme, first, in the region of Klang Valley. The school is housed in a rented single storey bungalow with lawn by the side of the premises for physical/outdoor activities. Rooms have been converted into classrooms, the living room into a meditation hall and the dining room into a library. Minor renovation was done to optimize utilization of the premises. Our classes and programmes class will focus one three (3) main areas of spirituality namely yoga, spiritual studies and code of conduct. The school will offer four (4) programs focusing on three (3) areas of spirituality as mentioned above but with different intensity of syllabus. The four (4) programs are as follows:

(1) Primary The age group of this category will be between seven (7) and fifteen (15) years old. In other words, the pupils will be mainly children. The syllabus in this level will be segregated into three (3) sessions.

(2) Foundation The foundation level is designed for pupils who graduated from primary level and for those above the age group of fifteen (15) but have limited knowledge of spirituality. The syllabus in this level which is segregated into three (3) sessions.

(3) Intermediate The Intermediate level is formulated for pupils who completed the foundation level and for those above the age group of fifteen (15) but have reasonable knowledge of spirituality. The syllabus in this level will be segregated into three (3) sessions.

(4) Advanced The Intermediate level is formulated for pupils who completed the Intermediate level and for those above the age group of seventeen (17) but have adequate knowledge of spirituality. The syllabus in this level will be segregated into three (3) sessions.

In addition to the above, the school will also organise the following events, either online or offline as the case maybe: (1) Satsang Dialogue/discourse/interaction sessions between the speakers and the seekers on selected spiritual topics to create awareness on the true essence of spirituality and how the same would restore our cultural identification.

) Lectures Lectures by speakers pertaining to general spiritualism, spiritual practices and techniques, spiritual experts and sages, spiritual challenges, etc.

Exhibition/Showcase/Expo Informative exhibits on the ingredients of spirituality to provide basic and in-depth spiritual knowledge and understanding to the seekers.

Spiritual Workshop Spiritual training to the seekers on the important aspects of spirituality. The workshop will also focus on promoting religious and Indian culture through spirituality.

Symposium/Seminar Sessions to be led by local and international spiritual experts on the tenets and fundamental viewpoints of spirituality.

Consultation/Counselling Session Spiritual counselling sessions and/or therapy will be piloted to assist and heal general members of the public and seekers who suffer from emotional, mental, and psychological problems.

Spiritual Teacher Training Courses This course is to train new teachers and seekers to be part of the School of Spiritual Sciences so that we are well equipped with the demand for such education from our community. This training will also upgrade the knowledge of educators from time to time.

Debate/Pattimandram Deliberating and reflecting on spiritual matters that are often subjected to disagreement, ambiguity, and dispute due to ignorance, inexperience, and cultural influences.

Charity Fair/Event To inspire and promote “Karma Yoga” namely to inculcate the spirit of selfless service amongst the students.

Book Fair on Indian culture and spirituality.

Spirituality is one of the main ingredients of life. That being the case, one will only be able to understand the purpose of life if the true essence of spirituality is first comprehended. Therefore, sharpening the knowledge of spirituality will make one appreciate life and live within the ambit of the law of nature or natural justice. The school passionately believe that spiritual knowledge can make one proud of his /her own culture and create a peaceful and loving society.
